Prof. Anthony WU Ting-yuk, GBS, JP

Prof. Anthony Wu is a co-founder of our company. Prof. Wu was formerly a member of Standing Committee of the 12th and 13th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference National Committee (member of the 9th, 10th and 11th CPPCC), from 2004 to 2013, he was the chairman of the Hong Kong Hospital Authority,

He serves as a member of the People’s Republic of China State Council’s Medical Reform Leadership Advisory Committee, a member of the Public Policy Advisory Committee and an advisor of the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China, the Principal Advisor to the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People’s Republic of China and a member of the Chinese Medicine Reform and Development Advisory Committee of the People’s Republic of China. Prof. Wu is still a member and was previously the chairman, of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.

Prof. Wu is also the Chief Advisor to MUFG Bank, Ltd., the Chairman of the China Oxford Scholarship Fund, and an Honorary Professor of Faculty of Medicine of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, School of Chinese Medicine of Hong Kong Baptist University and Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He was the chairman of the Bauhinia Foundation Research Centre, and an Independent Non-executive Director of Fidelity Funds, Agricultural Bank of China Limited and Guangdong Investment Limited. and an Independent Non-executive Director of China Taiping Insurance Holdings Company Limited 

Prof. Wu is an Honorary Fellow of Hong Kong College of Community Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and an Honorary Chairman of The Institute of Certified Management Accountants (Australia) Hong Kong Branch.

Prof. Wu was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star by the HKSAR Government in 2008 and was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 2004.

Ms. Jaye Wu is a co-founder of our company. Ms. Wu is also the chairman of Happy Home Holdings Limited. Ms Wu has over 20 years of management experience. Previously, Ms. Wu held senior executive positions at various companies, including Executive Director of the first private enterprise in Tianjin, PRC, as well as senior executive of a Hong Kong-listed company.

Ms. Wu holds a Doctorate in Applied Finance from the University of Geneva, a MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a BS in Business Administration from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Ms. Wu is also the honorary president of China Tianjin Maternal and Infant Care Services Association.

Mr. Yi Tang has over 24 years of investment and managerial experience. Mr. Tang is a co-founder of MTF Donvex Asset Management in HK. He was previously head of asset management at ICBC International. He was also General Manager of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management Hong Kong and head of Asia Pacific equities for Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management in France. He also worked at Morgan Stanley London and Natixis Asset Management. 

Mr. Tang is a graduate from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in France and has a BA in finance and a BA in French literature from Wuhan University in China.

Dr. Lai Chun Wan (Jeffrey) received his post-doctoral fellowship training in cancer genomics at the Queen Mary Hospital and the University of Hong Kong specializing in next-generation sequencing technology and human genetic variation detection. He received his Doctoral degree in biochemistry from Brigham Young University (Provo, Utah). He also received his Master of Science degree in molecular biosciences and bioengineering with emphasis in bioinformatics (University of Hawaii at Manoa, Honolulu) and Bachelor of Science degree in computer science (Brigham Young University - Hawaii, Laie) from the United States. In addition, he received his Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Hull, UK.

Dr. Lai has over 20 years of experience in genetic research and bioinformatics. He has authored and co-authored publications in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals in the fields of cancer, neuroscience, genetics and genomics research. He is a US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Board-approved National Registry Certified Clinical Chemist (NRCC), American Society for Clinical Pathology Board Certified Technologist in Molecular Biology and a registered Medical Laboratory Technologist. He has over 8-years of experience in supervising College of American Pathologists (CAP) / Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)-accredited High Complexity level molecular diagnostic laboratories as a Medical Laboratory Director. 

Mr. Alvin Shum has over 15 years of experience in genomics, laboratory and operation management. Mr. Shum has a proven track record of driving product development, providing clinical support, and fostering strategic partnerships. Previously, Mr. Shum served as Senior Clinical Scientist at Prenetics and General Manager at Oxford Life Sciences.  

Mr. Shum is a specialist in genetic counseling and genomic health assistance. He holds a B.S. in Bioengineering with a concentration in Bioinformatics and Genomics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mr. Jacky Lu is the Head of Sales of Elite Medical Global Ltd.

Mr. Lu brings over 15 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical business, having held key leadership roles at international pharmaceutical companies. Prior to joining Elite Medical Global, Mr. Lu was the Sales Director of Lucence (Hong Kong) Limited. Jacky is passionate about making innovative life-saving solutions to achieve the ultimate efficiency and personalization of services.

Ms. Sarah Zheng has 15 years of marketing and sales experience in the healthcare industry, covering biotech, MNC Pharma, medical devices, and medical media. Before joining Elite, she served as Senior Sales and Marketing Manager at multinational companies, focusing on marketing strategy, new product launches, innovative project management and key account management.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a Master's degree in Business. With over 7 years of professional experience in biotechnology, she is a certified genetic counselor, specializing in medical genetic products.
